県内5つの市町住民へのアンケート調査を用いて、生活習慣や地域活動参加と前期高齢者の生きがい感の間の関係を分析した。

「前期高齢者の生活習慣、地域活動参加と生きがい感の分析」
前期高齢者において、年齢が低い程、地域活動への参加頻度が低いという傾向が見られた。また、家庭での役割や周囲からの支えがある程、地域活動への参加が活発であった。地域活動への参加頻度が高い程、生活の質（精神的・身体的な健康状態）と生きがい感が高かった。
